Cries of the Past is the second album by American Christian metalcore band Underoath. The album was released on July 4, 2000 through Takehold Records. Only 3,000 copies of the album were pressed, and, like Act of Depression, it is currently out of print. The album is the last to feature metal guitarist Corey Steger and is the first to introduce Christopher Dudley as the band's keyboardist.
